The Farm

Pukana Lā means Sunrise in Hawaiian. We are on the south side of the Island, about 1800 ft on the slopes of Mauna Loa. The farm is located by the small village of Wai’ōhinu, where Mark Twain famously stayed and wrote about the area in Roughing it in the Sandwich Islands. The Farm is about two acres next to a beautiful ranch and forest. We grow rare tropical fruit, citrus and tasty avocados.

Aloha, I’m Rourk Reagan, owner and cook here at Pukana Lā Farms. We specialize in homemade jams, sauces and tasty goods. The farm is in Wai’ōhinu on the South Side of Hawai’i Island. Nestled on the beautiful green slopes of Mauna Loa, we use the freshest fruits grown right here on our farm or sourced from fellow farmers across Hawai'i. Our Jams are made with organic cane sugar and more fruit to sugar ratio so you can taste the fruit. With blessings of fertile soil and gentle rains, our products are bursting with vibrant flavors that will transport your tastebuds straight to paradise.
